Injection lipolysis (also known as “fat-away injection”) is a minimally invasive method to treat small, unwanted fat deposits without the need for surgery. The procedure sees an active ingredient injected into the problem area. This active ingredient stimulates an inflammatory response, which attacks the local fat cells via a number of different mechanisms. The result of this treatment is only visible after several weeks, once the reaction is over and the disintegrated fat cells have been removed via the lymph system.

This method is perfect for treating small areas, such as the lower abdomen, chin and knee area. Liposuction is the preferred therapy for larger problem areas.
